How to use a custom button image for an order button

If you want to use your own order button image for your OptimizeMember order buttons with OptimizePress you can follow these simple steps (please note this will work with the Paypal and Clickbank gateways):

1. Upload your order button to your Wordpress site. You can do this by going to Media > Add New on the left side menu.  Once uploaded, copy the URL of the image which should be displayed to you (you may need to click edit once the image is uploaded). Save the image URL in a text file as you will need to come back to it later.

2. Create your button shortcode.  Depending on which gateway you are using, go to OptimizeMember > Paypal Buttons or OptimizeMember > Clickbank Buttons.

Find the level you want to create a button for and set the various variables for the pricing and other settings you want to set for the button.  Once you are happy with the settings click Generate to create your order shortcode

3. Adding the button shortcode to your page.  Now you need to copy the shortcode from OptimizeMember and go to the page where you want to add the code.  If this is a LiveEditor page, you need to add a HTML/Shortcode element to your page and then paste in your shortcode.  It may look something like this:

[optimizeMember-PayPal-Button level="1" ccaps="" desc="Ebook Level / description and pricing details here." ps="paypal" lc="" cc="USD" dg="0" ns="1" custom="ophelpdesk.com" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="0.01" rp="1" rt="M" rr="1" rrt="" rra="1" image="default" output="button" /]

4. Modifying the button shortcode.  The final step is to use the button image URL that you uploaded at the start of the process.

To do this, inside the button shortcode find the image="default" and replace the word default with your image URL

This will set the image for the button to be your new button image that you uploaded.

Save the element and insert it into your page (it will show as shortcode still whilst in the LiveEditor).

When you view your live page you will see the button is now created using your image and when you click it should take you through to your gateway merchant (Paypal or Clickbank) to complete the order
