User not registered at Mailchimp after opt-in

In some cases when you have integrated your opt-in form with Mailchimp you may find the information is not sent through to Mailchimp

This usually happens if you have not properly connected your name field to your fields inside Mailchimp

To fix this, go to your opt-in form settings and find the Name field dropdown. Ensure that this field is connected to your first name or name field inside Mailchimp and not your email field, so the correct information is sent through

This happens because if you have a name field inside Mailchimp that is expecting data and none is sent, the user or subscriber is not created
